Cut down on time spent planning an outfit and leave your clothes at home altogether, because London's first naked restaurant is opening its doors tomorrow, June 11th. The most shocking part is that since April, over 40,000 people have signed up for the restaurant's waiting list. Yeah, that's a whole lot of naked. Whether you're completely aversed to the idea of nudity or ready to bare it all at London's newest hot spot, there's something for everyone at The Bunyadi . The restaurant is divided by bamboo screens into two sections, "naked" and "naked and pure". All guests are offered white robes and slippers, both of which are optional, obviously. The Bunyadi's philosophy is centred around the idea of purity, down to the decor, natural ingredients, and simple cooking methods. According to Seb Lyall, founder of the company Lollipop which is behind the event, "The idea is to experience true liberation. People should get the chance to enjoy and experience a night out without any impurities." The food itself consists of a vegan or non-vegan five-course tasting menu served on clay plates with edible cutlery. The interior also reflects the idea of purity with wooden furniture, free of industrialized modern design, and is lit only by candles. Remember to leave your phones behind for the full experience, as they are not permitted within the premises (naked sigh of relief). Be sure to head on over to The Bunyadi , as it'll only be open for a brief 3 months! You can sign up for e-mail notifications at to be the first to know when tickets go on sale.
